A few steps from our hotel you can reach the funicular that leads to Brunate, a small town 880 mt high. Brunate is famous for its lighthouse, its unique panorama on the first basin of Lake Como. There you will find few huts where you can try typical dishes of the Como area. Near the hotel is the old town, where you will find the major tourist attractions of the city such as the Duomo, the broletto, the ancient walls, the towers and the shopping streets. Very close is also the starting point of the boats that connect Como to the main cities on the lake including Menaggio, Tremezzo and Villa Carlotta, Cernobbio, Torno, Carate Urio and many others less known but worth a visit.

Near Como there is Milan city of entertainment, culture, shopping. Reachable by motorway or conveniently with the Como lake train station a few meters from us. Using your own car, or taking a bus from the station that is near us, you can visit the city of Monza famous for the F1 circuit and the real villa, Bergamo Brescia or Varese less famous cities but that have so much to offer. From the hotel in few minutes by car you can reach Switzerland, from here you can visit Lugano, Mendrisio and the most important tourist attractions of Ticino.
